About

Linda Varg photoshoot

Born in a small village in Dalarna Sweden, at age 18, after singing in the local gospel choir a few years, Linda left home to study performing arts in Stockholm and Gothenburg but soon dropped out and, together with 4 others, formed the multi-platinum group "Supernatural" signed to Warner Music.

The group eventually dissolved and Linda moved on to perform on cruise ships during which time she started writing her own music. 2007 and 2008 she starred as Annie in the musical "Chicago" in Copenhagen.

2010 she was a finalist on Swedish Idol. 2015 Linda Varg recorded the EP "Welcome to bangville volume 1" and signed with Gain/Sony Music. The singles "Idiot" and "Russian roulette", and the EP all debuted at no1 on iTunes Rock Sweden.

2017, after touring Sweden and Germany, she co-wrote and featured on "Sing me a lullaby", a duet with Ulf Nilsson. The song hit no1 on iTunes main chart in Sweden and got solid airplay on German radio.

2020 Linda Varg teamed up with producer Karl-Ola Kjellholm (Tiesto, Sunrise Avenue, The Band Perry) for a number of songs.

Although live shows were off the table 2021, last year still offered some great stuff, for example; features in Rolling Stone Magazine India, Earmilk, Atwood Magazine and her song "Like a boss" was played on iHeart Radio's indie station.

On a more heartfelt note; in 2021 Linda joined forces with artist/painter Emilia Lee who created a piece of art, from the cover art of Linda's song "Standing in the middle of the road".

The paintings were auctioned out on Ebay and all the proceedings were donated to Project iRise, a non-profit organization helping victims of human trafficking.

But now it's 2022, and Linda Varg is ready to make some serious noise all over again!
