Linda Varg was born in a small village in the woods in Dalarna Sweden. With no history of musicians in her family she didn't start singing until she turned 14 and joined the local gospel choir.
At the age of 18 Linda left home to study performing arts in Stockholm and Gothenburg. Against everyone's advice, she dropped out during her sophomore year to enter and win the TV-show "Popstars".
A major label contract with Warner Music followed and under the label’s supervision Linda and four others formed the multi-platinum selling group "Supernatural".
In 2007, a childhood dream came true when she landed a role in the Danish edition of the musical "Chicago" in one of Denmark's biggest theaters.
Though the musical career took up most of her time, she kept on writing music and always managed to make time to join different bands and play the bar scene and night clubs, singing everything from rock to pop and soul.
In 2010, she decided it was time to pursue a solo career and got everyone's attention when she was one of the finalists on Swedish Idol.
In 2015, Linda recorded an EP produced by Chris Rehn (Takida, Stiftelsen, Europe, Ulf Nilsson, Smash Into Pieces) and signed with Gain/Sony Music. The two leading singles, "Idiot" and "Russian roulette", and the EP "Welcome to Bangville" all debuted at no1 on iTunes Rock Sweden.
After touring both Sweden and Germany for a couple of years, she returned 2017 with the single "Sing me a lullaby", a co-write and duet with Ulf Nilsson (winner of The Voice Sweden). The song hit no1 on iTunes main chart in Sweden and got solid airplay on German radio and is still wildly popular among fans.
It's now the year 2020 and Linda Varg teamed up with producer/songwriter Karl-Ola Kjellholm (Tiesto, The Band Perry, Sunrise Avenue, Skip Marley) to release a number of singles that will lead up to her new album.
During the Covid lockdown, she played the Online Female Fest, the first all-female online festival in its genre, sharing the virtual stage with Share from iconic band Vixen and Lacey Sturm.
After the festival, she signed a European representation deal with Tank Girl Media Group and Musicarchy Media.
